Tozan is the pilgrimage to Taisekiji, the Head Temple of Nichiren Shoshu at the foot of Mt. Fuji in Japan. In Nichiren Shoshu Buddhism, the "source" of faith and benefit is to be found at Taisekiji, and this is the reason tozan to the Head Temple is a fundamental practice in true Buddhism.

How to apply for Tozan:

Chapter Group Tozan 2025:

Myoshoji Temple will hold two group Tozans in March and December of 2024.

First Chapter Tozan Date: Mar. 28, 2025 - Apr. 2, 2025

application is now closed.

Second Chapter Tozan Date: Dec. 3, 2025 – Dec. 9, 2025

application starts in June.

Although Personal Tozan is available, members are encouraged to join the group Tozan as their first and prior mission.

For Personal Tozan, it requires the submission at least 1 month before that date and there is no cancellation once submitting. To apply for Tozan, please contact Myoshoji Temple.

How to apply for Toba or Memorial Service :
For Toba or Memorial Service, each requires the submission at least three days before that date and there is no cancellation once submitting .

To apply for TOBA, please complete the application form and submit to the Myoshoji Temple.

To apply for Individual Memorial Service, please contact Myoshoji Temple.
